If you will be providing digital artwork, we prefer the following file types:

AI, EPS (version CS4 or earlier)
CDR (version 14 or earlier)
PDF
FS (FlexiSign version 7.5 or earlier)
JPEG (remember that jpegs sacrifice quality for file-size - what you see is what you get)
TIFF (please compress to reduce file size)

For vector formats (AI, EPS, CDR, etc), please make sure that all fonts are converted to curves or outlines. Images for large-format printing should be 100 to 200 dpi for sufficient quality. We can accept some other formats as well, so if you have something other than what's shown above, feel free to give our art department a call with any questions.

Files can be emailed to art@signaramava.com, but we prefer that files larger than 10 megabytes be uploaded using our FTP Service (call or email for details), sent via links to online services such as Dropbox, or delivered via physical media (CD, DVD or external drive).

For color-matching, we will need either PMS (Pantone Matching System) numbers or hard copy samples of colors to match. It is impossible to accurately match colors to the computer screen as all monitors are calibrated differently.

Every job is different, and sometimes, no matter how careful you are, problems or discrepancies do arise. We will always proof artwork to you if we have any questions, so please provide an email address or fax number for us to reach you at.
